Thank you so very much for visiting my journal with the Lord! I know it seems strange that I would allow “perfect strangers” to see inside something so personal and intimate as my spiritual journal.
Well, I have a couple or three reasons for putting my heart out “on my sleeve” like this. First of all, I want readers to be encouraged and challenged in their own spiritual journeys with God. What better way than to share some of what the Lord is teaching me? Also, I think it’s important to allow others to see how God is growing us up through time alone with him. I certainly haven’t arrived yet, but like Paul, I’m pressing toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus! And one more thing, I need accountability and prayer like everyone else. Knowing others are looking for these on a regular basis motivates me to make the time to hear from God through his Word!
